Well, I disagree that oil is purely going up for reasons of peak oil. It is definitely partly a result of printing dollars. BUT, the peak oil issue means that oil will continue to attract hot money, because potential gap between supply and demand make it a safer investment, and that is rare in today’s climate. Hense, it takes on a similar aspect to Gold. Scarcity stops corporations and governments from flooding the market to lower prices. Trust markets, not governments!
